8.21: Where the Circles Meet
What happens when four experienced practitioners, each with their own lineages, practices, perspectives, and gifts, come together to host?
Ahead of the upcoming Art of Hosting in Nova Scotia, Tim Merry is joined by Sera Thompson, Gabrielle Donnelly, and Dennis Adams for a warm and candid conversation about what each brings to the room - and what becomes possible where those circles meet.
Together, they explore embodiment and “self as instrument,” deep democracy, joy, inclusion, friendship, and the lifelong practice of creating conditions where people can meet across difference and find a way forward.
Along the way, the conversation becomes an act of hosting itself: seeing one another, honouring what each person brings, and discovering the possibilities that emerge in the space between.

A lively, off-the-cuff conversation hosted by Tuesday Ryan-Hart and Tim Merry on large-scale systems change and equity. For surprising turns, mind-blowing perspective shifts, and good ideas no matter what’s in the way.
In this podcast, we’ll share our greatest light-bulb moments as we advance our own understanding of this work. We’re doing it live, and inviting you in. Welcome! As Tim says in the first episode: reflection is too important to leave to chance. These conversations give us (and you!) a chance to slow down, catch our breath, and see our space and our work more clearly. Subscribe, share, and watch for new episodes coming through the fall. We’re happy to be in your ears!
